I Hate the Redskins

I Hate the Redskins
Former NFL linebacker, Shane Nelson, finished his career in San Diego while playing for legendary Chargers Head Coach, Don Coryell.  Shane and I are friends, and we shared a radio booth for almost ten years.  I never met Coryell so I decided to ask Shane about his former coach.  Coryell was known for his pre-game speeches.  He would rant and rave about how he detested the opponent.  “He had such energy,” said Nelson.  “He would say, ‘You know what? We are going to have some fun and we’re going to cry and laugh and battle our behinds off.’”  Nelson continued, “He would turn out the lights and carry on like he was possessed.  Once we had a game at home and Coryell was up there pacing.  Then he stopped and turned toward us and yelled, ‘You need to know that I hate the &*#$%> Redskins.  I want nothing more than to beat their butts.’  I was sitting next to quarterback Dan Fouts,” said Shane.  “I looked at Dan and Fouts said, ‘Hey coach, I thought we were playing the Cowboys,’ and Coryell looked up, his face red and said, ‘Yeah, well, I hate the Cowboys, too.”’

The majority of the general population around us are the pets sweetheart. What's more, among them, the pooch darlings are regular as we as a whole realize that puppy is a devoted creature. What's more, after the entire preparing, he can secure your things productively. So attempt to deal with them and adore them.

This is funny. Rivalries are not a new phenomenon in various sporting leagues and events including of course the National Football League. While there have been many outstanding rivals in the NFL such as the momentous rivalry of the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears as well as the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants, acts like this is still worth the hype for fans. Somehow, these kinds of trash talking in the league is allowed in order to provide more intense competition. I hope the players do not go beyond their limits, though. I really laughed out loud while reading this one.
